You probably have a lot of questions, even if you
don’t ask them. PartyTyme Entertainment has written these to provide the
answers you need about us prior to your event. |
|
1 |
How soon before the Wedding should I book my DJ?
As soon as you book your catering hall, it is advised that you begin
your search for a disc jockey. This should be twelve to fifteen months
prior to your affair. Similar to catering halls, DJ's have busy seasons
so please plan accordingly.
|
|
2 |
Can your Disc Jockey provide a written contract
and references from previous clients?
All PARTYTYME events are confirmed by a written contract (one copy
for the client, one copy for PARTYTYME). References are an important
part of any business and we are able to provide you with the names of
many of our satisfied clients.
|
|
3 |
Are you insured?
Yes, PARTYTYME is fully insured and we will provide your
catering hall with a copy of our insurance certificate upon
request. |
|
4 |
Should I tip the DJ?
It is customary to tip your photographer, videographer and DJ/Band.
However, whether you do or not is entirely up to you
|
|
5 |
When will you arrive to setup?
We will arrive approximately 60 minutes prior to your affair
to complete our setup. Breakdown usually takes about 45 minutes.
|
|
6 |
Will your Disc Jockey be suitably dressed for the
occasion?
Our DJs are tuxedo-attired for all formal occasions, and
appropriately dressed for all semi-formal occasions.
|
|
7 |
Who will make announcements during the reception?
Announcements will be made by the PARTYTYME Master of Ceremonies. For
all formal events we provide a two-man team who serve as your Master of
Ceremonies and Disc Jockey. Additionally, all PARTYTYME DJs are as
comfortable in front of the microphone as they are behind the turntables
(dual cd players).
|
|
8 |
How do you handle yourself on the microphone?
At PARTYTYME, we let the music do the talking. We do not go around to
the tables and drag guests onto the dance floor. When we do make our
announcements, we speak in a clear, concise and capable voice and use
these opportunities to pump up the crowd. |
|
9 |
What music will be played at my affair?
For all events a PARTYTYME coordinator will meet with you to review
all aspects of your affair. For your music requests, we will ask you to
submit a list of your favorite songs and even a list of songs which you
do not care to have played. Our DJs will use these lists and their
professional experience and judgment to select the music played at your
affair.
We are experienced in all types of parties and have the music resources
to make your affair a success.
